A wider way in
A 267 × 273mm entrance gives cats room to step in and turn around. Check the opening, the 255mm entrance height and your cat’s build before choosing this model. PETKIT prohibits use by kittens under six months old or cats weighing less than 1.5kg. The listed weight range is 1.5–10kg.

The fixed 1080p camera offers a wide view of the litter-box area, with night vision for low-light visits. Open the PETKIT app to use the supported live-view and recording functions. This model has a microphone and one-way audio; it is not a two-way talk system.

Urine-pH features require compatible PETKIT monitoring litter and the relevant app service; standard litter does not provide that function.

Automatic cleaning moves separated clumps away from the cylinder. The enclosed design, sealed waste area and compatible N50 and N60 consumables work together to manage everyday litter-box odours.

Drawstring waste handling
Pull the dedicated drawstring to close the waste bag before removal. PETKIT describes up to 17 days between waste-bin changes for one cat; actual intervals depend on the cat, litter and use. Check the bin regularly and follow device reminders.
Sensors and a physical anti-pinch design
Twelve integrated sensors monitor proximity and weight. The system pauses cleaning when it detects a cat nearby or inside. Follow the setup and placement instructions so the sensors can work correctly, and supervise initial use.
A cylinder designed to contain leaks
The ShieldBase cylinder design helps contain liquid around the litter area. Maintain the correct litter level, inspect the pad and seals, and clean removable parts as directed.

Choose a sifter for your litter
Use suitable clumping litter and the matching sifter: P99022 for larger particles such as tofu or mixed litter, and P99023 for finer clay or bentonite. PETKIT recommends particles no longer than 12mm. Do not overfill the cylinder.

This New Zealand listing is supplied under SKU T5-2-C. The Fence 2.0 litter fence is not included.
Set up and maintain your litter box
- Place it on firm, level flooring and leave at least 5cm clearance from the wall.
- Fit the supplied components according to the enclosed quick-start guide, then add suitable litter below the marked limit.
- Connect the required power supply and pair the device with the PETKIT app.
- Monitor the first visits and allow your cat time to become familiar with the unit.
- Disconnect power before cleaning. Wash only the removable parts specified in the manual; keep the powered base and electronics dry.
- Empty the waste bin, inspect the bag and renew deodorising consumables as required.

Does it need a subscription?
The device uses the PETKIT app. Some AI, cloud-video and recording-history services need a paid PETKIT Care+ plan; available services vary by region and app version.
Can I speak to my cat through it?
This model provides a microphone and one-way audio. It does not offer the two-way talk function found on some PETKIT feeders.
Can I put it on carpet?
Use firm, level flooring. Soft or unstable surfaces can affect weight sensing. Place any litter mat in front of the unit rather than beneath it.
Which litter and waste bags should I choose?
Use compatible clumping litter with the matching sifter. Choose waste bags specified for PUROBOT MAX PRO 2’s drawstring system and check the spare-part model before ordering.
How often do I empty the bin?
The 8L bin can provide up to 17 days for a single cat under the manufacturer’s conditions. More cats or heavier use shortens that interval; inspect the bin and follow app reminders.
Will it keep operating if Wi-Fi drops?
Saved device settings can continue to operate without the network. Remote control and updated app records need the relevant connection.
What if my cat is young or underweight?
No. PETKIT prohibits use by kittens under six months old or cats weighing less than 1.5kg. Follow the supplied manual and keep ineligible cats from using the device.
